On the Total Costs tab, you can see the total costs of the agreement, grouped by currencies.

When the costs for a CO are calculated, all quantities and other costs (including all previous supplements) are considered. If you want the costs of a CO to only be calculated for the changes that have been applied, you must set the project default ZP_CODELTA to Y.

The Last Cost field displays the total costs of the agreement prior to the creation of a CO.

The difference between the previous and the actual costs is displayed in the Changed Cost field. Only in the case of a CO does this value differ from 0 (zero).

The Total Cost field shows the total cost of the agreement, including all other costs. The value is calculated as the sum of the Last Cost and Changed Cost values.

The currency of the costs is displayed in the Currency field.

If you want to apply a tax rate on the total costs of an agreement, you must enter a tax percentage in the Tax % field. The tax amount will be calculated automatically based on this percentage and displayed in the Tax Amount field. Vice versa, if you enter a tax amount in the Tax Amount field, the percentage will be calculated automatically and displayed in the Tax % field.

The tax amount will be added to the total cost and the result displayed in the Total Cost + Tax field.

If you select the Tax indicator, the value assigned to the project default ZP_TAX is automatically copied over into the Tax % field and used as the basis for the calculation of the Tax Amount value. Both values can be changed manually.

To calculate the tax amount, you can click the Calculate Tax button at the bottom. If you click this button, the CIP procedure m_pck_po_custom. execute_cip is executed. This CIP is intended to calculate the tax depending on the values of variable attributes such as tax rate and tax flag. The button is only enabled for agreements that are not approved.

  • The tax is neither included in the Total Cost field nor in the project supplier history.

  • If a purchase order is created based on a notice of commitment (NOC) or a blanket order (BO), the tax amount will be copied over from the NOC or the BO if the Tax indicator is not set. If the Tax indicator is selected, the tax amount will be calculated as usual based on the tax percentage.

  • If a purchase order/blanket order release is created using the 'Create from Blanket Order' or 'Create Supplement' options on the P.30.01 Requisition Workload screen, or if a change order is created, the tax amount will be calculated in the same way as described in the previous bullet.

The Total Cost + Tax field shows the sum of the total costs and the tax amount.

The account code to be used for taxes is entered in the Account Code field. You can double-click in this field to open the A.10.30 Account Codes screen where account codes are defined.
