You can use the PT.20.22 Preliminary Packing Delta screen to get a comprehensive overview on differences between the traffic group-by criteria (delivery designation, routing method, incoterm, delivery place, and forecasted delivery date) of item shipments and associated preliminary packing lists (PPL). If the values do not match, the PPL fields are displayed with a red background color,

The delta comparison is only provided for orders for which preliminary packing is possible, that is, the restrictions applied on orders are the same as those described for the master block of PT.20.21 Preliminary Packages. You can open the PT.20.21 screen for each displayed order by double-clicking in any field of the related record.

Here you can see all item shipments for which at least one of the traffic group-by criteria (delivery designation, routing method, incoterm, delivery place, and forecasted delivery date) differs from the corresponding criterion of the associated preliminary packing list. Item shipments with zero quantities or that have been placed on a release note already are not taken into account.

The agreement number/name is displayed in the Order Number field, the number/name of the preliminary packing list in the PPL Number field, the name/number of the preliminary package in the Package Number field, and the supplement of the order in the Suppl field.

The Pos field shows the agreement position, the Sub field the agreement sub-position, the IS Pos field the item shipment line item number, and the IS Sub field the item shipment sub line item number.

The material information is displayed in the next fields, such as the ident code in the Ident Code field, the sizes of the ident in the Size 1 to 5 fields, the commodity code in the Commodity Code field, and for tagged items the tag number in the Tag Number field.

The IS For. Del. Date field displays the forecasted delivery date of the item shipment, and the PPL For. Del. Date field displays the forecasted delivery date of the preliminary packing list. If the values are different, the PPL field is displayed with a red background color.

The IS Delivery Designation field displays the name of the delivery designation of the item shipment, and the PPL Delivery Designation field displays the name of the delivery designation of the preliminary packing list. If the values are different, the PPL field is displayed with a red background color.

The IS Routing Method field displays the name of the routing method of the item shipment, and the PPL Routing Method field displays the name of the routing method of the preliminary packing list. If the values are different, the PPL field is displayed with a red background color.

The IS Incoterm field displays the name of the incoterm of the item shipment, and the PPL Incoterm field displays the name of the incoterm of the preliminary packing list. If the values are different, the PPL field is displayed with a red background color.

The IS Delivery Place field displays the name of the delivery place of the item shipment, and the PPL Delivery Place field displays the name of the delivery place of the preliminary packing list. If the values are different, the PPL field is displayed with a red background color.

You can double-click in any field to open the PT.20.21 Preliminary Packages screen.
