An enterprise-wide restoration, which involves restoring a simultaneous backup of SmartPlant Foundation or SmartPlant Basic Integrator and all of the integrated authoring tools, results in a synchronized integrated environment. All users must be logged out before performing an enterprise-wide backup and restoration.
A partial system restoration, which involves restoring backups of one or a few of the SmartPlant Enterprise applications, often results in data inconsistencies that must be resolved using the resynchronization process documented in Resynchronizing SmartPlant Enterprise.
