The following install and uninstall operations are commonly used for the External Editor.
Prior to performing the installation procedure, make sure that you have administrator
privileges in your account.
Install External Editor from the SmartPlant Instrumentation CD
This option allows you to install the External Editor at the same time as you perform the installation for SmartPlant Instrumentation. For more information, see Install External Editor from the SmartPlant Instrumentation CD.
Uninstall External Editor
The uninstall process deletes the following:

All registry entries
-
All External Editor program icons
-
The External Editor program group
-
All External Editor folders and files copied to your computer during the setup process
