For Customer Hosted Licensing (CHL) two options are available:
-
The License Admin creates a separate ISL project for the users of the joint venture partner. He directs the project to point to the appropriate CHL keystore. This 'CHL project' can be added to the same cci-file which is already loaded into the ISL client on device level. In A.20.05, those users which should pull from the CHL keystore get the name of the CHL project into their Keystore field.
The ISL project name will be reported in the logfiles instead of the Smart Materials project names.
-
The License Admin creates a separate client config for the users of the joint venture partner. In the ISL client, he loads a device-level cci for the staff from the hosting company, and then he loads the 'CHL config' for each Smart Materials user which is identified to work from the joint venture partner. The load can be done from the ISL client command line:
Clientconfigtool -u <SMatUserName> -f <Path and name of the cci file>
In this case, the Keystore fields in A.60.81 and A.20.05 can remain empty.
