Typically, you use the steps below to place most information items:

Select Add > Annotation Command to display the Selection ribbon. You can also select Place Info
on the Place toolbar.

Use the Selection ribbon to specify the type of information item to place. You can place the following information items on the drawing:

Select the location on the pipeline where the information item is to display.

Select OK
on the Selection ribbon.

The software stays in placement mode so that you can continue to add information items.To cancel placement mode:

Select Cancel
on the Selection ribbon

Press ESC

Right-click in the Graphics window and select Cancel

The software might display additional options depending on the type of information item you are placing. For example, some end connections require that you define a nozzle or pipeline reference, while messages, or annotations, let you include associated text.
