Enables you to set preferences for various Smart Electrical options. You can set preferences as default values for new users and, if needed, apply the settings for all existing users in the plant.
After you set the preferences, in Smart Electrical, the users can change the preference values locally as needed.
Category
Contains preference categories available for selection.
General
Allows you to set general preferences. See General (Plant Default Preferences Window).
SLD
Allows you to set preferences related to single line diagram (SLD) options.See SLD Generation (Plant Default Preferences Window).
Reports
Allows you to set preferences related to all feeder load summary reports.See Load Summaries and Reports (Plant Default Preferences Window).
Delete Loads
Allows you to set preferences related to the deletion of main items and their related items. See Delete Loads (Plant Default Preferences Window).
Preferences
Displays preference options, values, and units (where applicable) that you can set as default for all new users in the plant. The software displays the preference options dynamically, according to the category that you select.
Option
Displays a list of preference options for which you can specify values and units for numeric values.
Value
Allows you to select or type a default value for a preference option.
Units
Allows you to select a unique unit of measure for all of SLD margins and units of measure for SLD internals (buses, circuits and circuit internals).
Apply also for existing users
Applies the preference settings for all new and existing users.
