Stops or locks the display of the Renderer window and prevents further rendering. You can then modify the model or selected objects in the Main view without affecting the Renderer display. If you unlock the display, the Renderer window constantly updates the display during navigation and show modifications made
to the environment or lighting. This affects the overall display performance.

From the Renderer window, click Unlock
to toggle to Lock .

Go to the Main view and make any required changes such as display modifications, collision detection, animation, or navigate to a new location.

Click Unlock
when you are ready to synchronize back up to the model or selected objects in the
Main view. Unlock reloads the entire image.
