Use the Animation toolbar to create and edit Display Set animations, play all animation types you have created, and then schedule animation playback to reflect progression in your model. The Animation toolbar can be accessed from View > Toolbar or from the Animation menu.

The left-to-right order of the commands in the Animation Toolbar provides a general workflow in the animation creation, playback, and schedule process.

Move Eye Point allows motion commands to affect the graphic views. For more information, see Set Motion Control to Eye Point.

Move Display Set allows you to dynamically move display sets using the keypad or mouse. For more information, see Set Motion Control for Display Sets.

New Display Set displays the Edit Display Set dialog box, allowing you to create a new display set. For more information, see Create New Display Set Definitions.

Select Display Set Filter toggles on and off the ability to select a display set in the Main view. You can select any object in the model and the display set with the lowest user ID containing that object is selected in the Main view and in the Project Manager. You can select display sets, and then move them to a different location or orientation. For more information, see Select Display Sets Filter.

When you turn off the Display Set select filter, the filter that was last selected is used. For example, if you have the display set filter set to Elements, and then you turn on the Display Set filter, Smart Review automatically sets the filter back to Elements when you turn off the Display Set select filter.

Locate Lock View Dependent toggles on and off automatically locking North, East, or Elevation locks based on the current view orientation. For more information, see Lock by View.

Locate Lock North toggles on and off locking the north coordinate position. For more information, see Lock North.

Locate Lock East toggles on and off locking the east coordinate position. For more information, see Lock East.

Locate Lock Elevation toggles on and off locking movement to the current elevation. For more information, see Lock Elevation.

Locate Lock Surface toggles on and off locking the display set position to a surface geometry (or view plane at the current depth). This is the default lock setting. For more information, see Lock to Surface.

Locate Lock Floor toggles on and off locking the display set position to move along a user-defined floor. For more information, see Lock to Floor .

Set Floor displays the Set Floor dialog box so you can enter the Z coordinates of the elevation floor you want to use for all display set movement. For more information, see Set Floor.

Display Set Animation Paths shows or hides the selected Display Set animation paths in the Main view. If no display sets are selected, then Smart Review displays animation paths for all display sets. For more information, see Show Display Set Animation Path.

Reposition Display Set Animation changes the Display Set animation path by enabling you to move selected points or the entire animation path to a different X, Y, Z location in the Main view. This command enables you to move one or more points, one or more lines in a path, or paths.

Delete Display Set Animation Items deletes an animation, one or more animation paths, and points in an animation path. For more information, see Delete Display Set Animations.

Edit Display Set Position opens the Edit Display Set Position dialog box, which allows you to change the position of the selected display set. This command works in conjunction with the Display Sets > Move command to allow you to reposition display sets independent of their default location. For more information, see Move a Display Set Using Edit Position Command.

Reset Display Set Position resets all display set positioning such as move/rotate, move origin, rotate origin, move delta, and rotate delta information back to their original, default positions. For more information, see Reset a Display Set to the Original, As-Built Position.

Display Set Animation Capture Mode toggles on and off recording display set motion as well as settings such as date and time defined in the Animation Playback/Capture Settings dialog box. This command is enabled when you select a display set. For more information, see Capture Display Set Motion and Settings.

Animation Settings opens the Animation Playback/Capture Settings dialog box so that you can configure specific playback operations for each animation type, and define record settings. For more information, see Define Animation Playback and Capture Settings.
