  • Discard any graphic objects rendered in the view smaller than a pixel. Turn on the Dot Box setting and turn off the Range Rejection setting. Any graphic object smaller than a pixel is discarded.
    -OR-
Turn on the Range Rejection setting to discard more graphic objects.

It is the object ranges that control the results and not the actual render results. For example, an object merely included by another object in the view is not discarded.

    • Any graphic object whose range is not in view is discarded.

    • Any graphic object whose range is rejected because of the View > Settings > Range Reject settings are discarded.

    • Any graphic object whose range is rejected because of the View > Settings > Display > Dot Box option is discarded. If the object is drawn as a dot box, it is not discarded. If the object range is smaller than a pixel, it is not drawn as a dot box, and it is discarded.

    • Any graphic object manually hidden by a display set or level settings is discarded.

  • Create display sets containing the objects, and then hide them. Select the display set, right-click to open a shortcut menu, and then clear Show. Otherwise, a checkmark beside the Show command means that the selected display set is shown in the Main view and can be exported.

  • Hide file levels of graphics not required for the export. From the Project Manager, select each file under Project files, and then click All Off.

  • Activate and adjust a clipping volume to further remove unnecessary objects. For more information on clipping volumes, see Working with Clipping Volumes.

  • Select Display Sets > Material Persistence to save any material changes you made to display sets in the new .vue file. For more information, see Persist Display Set Material Assignments.
