Cables

The software updates the cable length and tray fill calculations when you modify cableway networks that contain cables. To defer the cable length and tray fill calculations while performing cableway modifications, click CTRL + SHIFT + C and select Yes in the dialog that displays. Any cables affected by the cableway modifications are now deferred, and you can update them using the To Do List.

Cable Auto-Routing

When you auto-route cables in the Electrical task, the software creates a log file in your computer's temp folder named CableAutoroute.log. If you are having problems auto- routing cables, refer to this log file.
