Meaning: The leg's designed slope is smaller than the run's minimum slope.

Recovery: Modify the route design or decrease the minimum slope of the run. In case of complex networks, disconnect the network into appropriate sections, and then use Move or Modify Slope Modify Slope to resolve the TDR.

Correct the Slope using Modify Slope

We recommend that you modify the slope incrementally by correcting the slope from one end of the leg to the other end.

  1. Open the To Do List, and select the record from the list.

  2. Click Modify Slope Modify Slope on the ribbon.

The Modify Slope dialog box displays.

  3. Select the leg to change.

  4. Select a slope from the list that puts the component within the minimum slope tolerances.

  5. Click OK.

Smart 3D changes the slope of the component.

SHARED Tip You must repeat this procedure for each component that needs to change.

Decrease the Minimum Slope of the Run

  1. Select the appropriate run graphically or from the Workspace Explorer.

  2. In the Minimum Slope box, enter a slope value that puts the run within the minimum slope tolerances.

Smart 3D changes the slope of the run.
