The satellite template, created during satellite slot creation at the host site, is used at the satellite site to create a view of the host plant schema. The template also contains the Workshare password and the database user names for the satellite slot.
During the course of a Workshare collaboration, the data at the host site may change and thereby impact the content of the satellite template. When this happens, or when proxy users change, the host must generate a new template and send the updated template to the satellite.
