This section describes the work environment.

Main view

Presents a full-screen view of the loaded 3D model .vue file. When you first open Intergraph FreeView, click Expand to open a model and see the available commands.

Expandable Menu Bar

Provides access to analysis and display commands, and Fly mode navigation.

Navigation

Supports basic WASD keyboard motion and Fly mode navigation. Fly mode offers eye point movement through your model, and allows you to quickly change the camera angle to see your model from various viewpoints. Use your touchscreen or your mouse and keyboard in Fly mode. You can explore all objects and spaces to get a better understanding of the model design.

Shortcut (Right-click) Menu

Provides access to additional commands such as Help, upgrade information, and performance settings.

View Axis

Displays in the lower left corner of the view and shows the directions: East (x axis), North (y axis), and Elevation (z axis). The N arrow always points in the plant north direction relative to the current view of the model.
