You must synchronize each laser scan server object between the TruView Enterprise / TruView Cloud application server and the SmartPlant Foundation application server to import site data. When you create the SmartPlant Foundation objects, relationships are created to each of the corresponding TruView site objects.

  1. In the Web Client home page, click Laser Scan > Servers.

  2. In the Servers list, select a laser scan server, and click Actions > Synchronize.

In Multi User Authentication approach, to proceed further you must validate your TruView Enterprise or TruView Cloud credentials provided by the TruView Enterprise administrator by typing in the Enter TruView Enterprise Credentials dialog box. The TruView Enterprise credentials to be typed are Username, Password and Client ID. For more information, see Create a laser scan server. The credentials will be validated only once per session.

  3. In the Select Sites to Synchronize window, select one or more sites from the TruView Enterprise or TruView Cloud sites list, and click SYNCHRONIZE.

    What is an Authentication approach?

Authentication approach is the validation done based on the access type impersonated by the SDx Connector for TruView to obtain data from the TruView Enterprise / TruView Cloud application server.

  • You can synchronize all the TruView Enterprise or TruView Cloud sites at once, by clicking Select All.

  • In the Select Sites to Synchronize window, the public sites are represented by the icon , and the private sites are represented by the icon .

  • You can view and synchronize public and private site data from Leica TruView Enterprise or TruView Cloud application server. For more information on public and private sites, see About Public Sites and Anonymous Users in the Leica TruView Enterprise User Guide.

  • The user access controls changes based on the type of authentication approach and site chosen as shown below:
