The Shortcut toolbar is a dynamic and configurable toolbar that displays shortcut options configured on any object you select in SmartPlant Foundation. The Shortcut toolbar buttons have the same functionality as an object's shortcut menu. By default, the Shortcut toolbar appears with Details and History buttons beside the Find box. Your system administrator can also configure the Shortcut toolbar to display options to expand relationships or edge definitions. For more information, see Shortcut toolbar.
When you log on to the Desktop Client, the software retrieves all toolbar shortcut methods that are accessible through your role. When you select an object, the Shortcut toolbar displays shortcut options for the selected object and any expansions. If any of the toolbar shortcut methods have conditions, they are processed when you select the shortcut toolbar button. If any of the selected objects do not satisfy the condition, you are given the option to continue processing the valid objects.
To show or hide the Shortcut toolbar, click Window > Shortcut toolbar.
