You use the Export SmartPlant Electrical Reference Cables wizard allows you to export your reference power cables to ETAP so that you can synchronize the reference cable data in SmartPlant Electrical and ETAP. This synchronization is optional as the software can publish cables to ETAP without any project data. However, if you want to publish SmartPlant Electrical project cables with their data, this synchronization becomes a requirement.
On the Reference Power Cable Selection Method page, you are required to choose whether you want to select the reference power cables based on their specifications or select the cables from the full list of all the available reference power cables.
All power cables
Sets the selection method to a full list of all the available reference power cables. The software will display this list on the next page after you select Next.
Power cables with selected cable specifications
Sets the selection method to selecting the reference power cables based on the reference power cables that have specific cable specifications that you select on this page. After selecting Next, the software will display a list reference power cables that have the selected cable specifications.
Cable Specifications
Contains a list of all available cable specifications that you can select.
Add
Adds a selected cable specification to the list of selected cable specifications.
Remove
Removes a selected cable specification from the list of selected cable specifications.
Selected cable specifications
Displays the list cables specifications that you have selected.
Next
Opens the Reference Cable Selection page.
