Fix invalid data values - Intergraph Smart Engineering Manager - 2019 (10.0) - Help - Hexagon

If the data in the Excel file does not match the product's data model, message File imported with errors displays in the ribbon. Use the following procedure to fix the data in the Excel file.

1. View the errors in the validation report log file. The file is in the ..\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\Temp\Intergraph\MDI\Reports\ folder and has the generic file name: <Excel file name> - ValidationReport.log.

2. Depending on the type of data that needs fixing, use one or both of the following procedures to correct the data values in the Excel file:

   • Prepare database table property definitions.

   • Prepare select list definitions.

3. Re-import the file.
