In the example tables below, Custom Select List 2 is dependent on Custom Select List 1 that is defined in the Excel file or already exists in the database.

In this example, only List A exists and new select list entries A1 and A2 are going to be added to it. List B and all of its select list entries are going to be newly imported into the database. The select list entries for List B will be dependent on the select list entries selected from List A.

To enable dependencies between select list entries in two select lists, a dependency must also be established between those select lists, as shown in the 4th row of the table.
