The Edit > Copy command copies selected text and graphics to the clipboard. The copied information replaces the previous contents of the clipboard. The clipboard retains the format of the copied items and converts them to other formats as required when you paste them.
Use the Locate Filter command to indicate what kind of information you want to copy.
