The 2D Measure 
feature of SmartPlant Markup Plus allows you to measure the distance between two
points within a drawing. When you select this feature and select the first point,
the application measures the distance between that point and the cursor, displaying
that distance beside the cursor until you select a second point. After you select
the second point, the result of the measurement appears in the status bar at the bottom
of the window. The units in which the distance is displayed is determined by settings
in the file.
