Perform the following steps to create pipe and batch queues.
Load the necessary products.
Activate PDS Queue Creation (Start > All Programs > PD_Shell > PDS Queue).
To define pipe queues, select the queue from the Queue Name: drop-list box. Next, activate the Remote Node box and select a node form the Remote Node drop-list box or key in a new node name. A check mark is displayed next to each product for which you have entered or modified queue information. You can also select a product and ALL from the Queue Name: drop-list box to define all queues for the selected product, as shown below. All queues for PD_Design would be specified as pipe queues to the node Server when the OK option has been selected.
To define local queues, select the queue from the Queue Name: drop-list box. Clear the Remote Node box. A check mark is displayed next to each product for which you have entered or modified queue information.
NOTE: If a check mark is not displayed next to the product, none of the queues for that product will be created when you select the OK option. Activate and then deactivate the Remote Node box if a check mark does not appear when a queue has been defined.
After you have defined queue information for the loaded products, select OK.
When either OK or Exit is selected, the system displays a dialog box allowing you to confirm or reject modification of the queue.lst file.
When all queues for a specific product have been created, the system deactivates the product on the PDS Queue Selection dialog box.
