  1. In the tree view, select a required rule.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Click Edit > Properties.

    • On the toolbar, click .

    • On the shortcut menu, click Properties.

  3. On the General tab of the Rule Properties dialog box, select Disable.

  4. Click OK.

    In the, tree view of the SmartPlant Electrical Rule Manager window, disabled rules are marked with the icon.

  5. Click Save on the main toolbar to write the changes to the rule base.

After you disable the rule, is the user violates the rule consistency criteria in SmartPlant Electrical, the software does not apply any actions that you specified for the logical expressions.
