Click Measure
on the Tools toolbar. Alternatively, click Tools > Measure.
The software displays the Measure Information ribbon just above the Graphics window.

Select a point on the pipeline to define the first reference point.

Select another point on the pipeline to define the second reference point.
The software displays the calculated values on the Selection ribbon.

Click Cancel
on the Selection ribbon to exit the Measure command.

In the example, only the E/W box contains a calculated value (the distance between the two points you selected on the pipeline) because both reference points are made in the E/W direction,

You can change the location of the second reference point by clicking a different location on the pipeline.

The software defines the first reference point as the primary reference point. If required, however, you can make the second reference point the primary reference point by clicking
on the Selection ribbon.
