After you import a design file, it becomes part of the current project. You can then check out the file from the Isogen database, and modify it in the software.

Click Project > Check Out.
The Isogen Database View window opens and displays the pipelines in the IsogenDB project that are available for check out.

Select the pipeline to check out. Use the CTRL and SHIFT keys to select multiple pipelines.

Click Check Out
.
The software checks out the file from the database, places a copy in the work folder, and displays the pipeline in the application window.

Checking out a file from the Isogen database sets Isometric Status to Working.

When you check out a file, the software places a copy of the file and the corresponding replay file (if one exists) in the project work folder.
