The only quantity to be checked on a requisition created by an MTO job is the actual released quantity. By default, the procedure calculates the released quantity as follows:

RELEASED QTY = BOM LIST TOTAL + CONTINGENCY

You can change this released quantity to reflect past experience or project knowledge. The Released Quantity field is the only requisition quantity field that can be changed.

The released quantity is the quantity that is passed to procurement to purchase.

Usually, checks are performed on the R.30.01 screen; alternately, the requisitions can be printed as a report as displayed in the picture below. You can check the information on the report.

In cases where you do not agree with the quantities specified in the requisition, it is possible to trace the records and find out which BOM positions the items are included in. To view the traced records, double-click in the Pos field to open Window 3.

You can click the Delete and reduce quantity button to delete the selected trace record as well as reduce the released quantity of the corresponding requisition line item.

If you click the Delete without reduction of quantity button, the released quantity of the corresponding requisition line item is not changed.

If you miss any idents on the requisition, you can use the Check Idents tab to check why they are missing.

Enter the ident code you are looking for in the Ident Code field or select it from the LOV, and click the Check Missing Ident button. The result is displayed in the Reason for Missing Ident field.

The List of Lost Idents block displays the idents that are part of the BOM setup but not included in the MTO-generated requisitions.
