This functionality deals with changing the NLS setting of the application without logging out of the application. The functionality is provided to make it easier to change the NLS while working on the MAV grid. After you are done with the current language, you can change the language and continue your work in the same class system and class hierarchy with a different language. The MAV toolbar provides a button with an icon of flags of different countries.
When you click this button, you are provided with a list of languages supported for the logged in project and discipline. You can choose one of them to change the NLS setting. A language can be selected either by double-clicking on that language or by highlighting it and then clicking OK. If you click Cancel, the process of changing NLS will be canceled and no changes take effect.
You can change the NLS for the application only when the MAV grid is in read-only mode. In edit mode, the button is not available.
This feature causes NLS to change for the entire application, not just for the MAV
grid. The availability of the toolbar button to change the NLS is controlled through
access control rights of the user.
