This project default controls whether automatic creation of preliminary package data is permitted when approving an agreement.
If this project default is set to N (default), preliminary packing data is not created when approving agreements.
If this project default is set to Y and you are working with extended expediting (ZP_NEW_EXP = Y), preliminary package data is automatically created when approving an agreement of type PO (supplement 0).
You can view and modify preliminary package data on PT.20.21 screen.
If this project default is set to R and you are working with extended expediting (ZP_NEW_EXP = Y), preliminary package data is automatically created when approving an agreement of type PO (supplement 0) and all its item shipments have a routing method assigned. If routing methods are added after the agreement approval, the preliminary packing data will automatically be created as soon as the last item shipment gets a routing method assigned.
Data is only created if no data exists so far. Data might already exist because it is copied from the corresponding requisition when an agreement is approved, regardless of the setting of this project default.
