Command line: STREXPORT

Exports selected CADWorx Structure components to CIS/2, GT STRUDL (GTI), or CAESAR II.

Physical CIS/2

Exports the design of the physical model, which you can then import into detailing software.

Analysis CIS/2

Exports the analysis model, which you can then import into analysis software.

GT STRUDL

Exports the analysis model to a GTI file, which you can then import into GT STRUDL.

CAESAR II

Exports the analysis model to a STR file, which you can then import into CAESAR II.

Export a model to CIS/2, GT STRUDL, or CAESAR II

1. On the Tools panel, click Export .

   You can also type STREXPORT in the command line.

2. Select Physical, Analysis, GT STRUDL, or CAESAR II.

3. Select the components to export. Press ENTER when finished.

   The Select Export Output File Type dialog box displays.

4. Select the file type to save in the Save as type box.

5. Specify the folder and file name, and then click Save.

   If you select CAESAR II, the software prompts you for the start node number and the increment value. Otherwise, the software saves the file and the process ends.

6. Type the start node value, or accept the default.

7. Type the increment value, or accept the default.
