Web Cut

  1. On the Cross Section Symbols toolbar, click Add Point Properties to display the Define Mapping Points dialog box.

  2. In the Point name box, choose WebCutPoint.

  3. Select a web cut point; the corresponding point highlights in the table.

  4. In the Attribute setting box, type the name. The name is the same as the bounded part curve on which the point lies. See Key Points for proper naming conventions. In the example, the correct names are Top, and Bottom.

  5. Click Apply.

  6. Repeat until all web cut points are named.

  7. Click OK.

Flange Cut

  1. On the Cross Section Symbols toolbar, click Add Point Names to display the Define Mapping Points dialog box.

  2. In the Point name box, choose FlangeCutPoint.

  3. Select a flange cut point; the corresponding point highlights in the table.

  4. In the Attribute setting box, type the name. See Key Points for proper naming conventions. In the example, the correct name is Profile.

  5. Click Apply.

  6. Repeat until all flange cut points are named.

  7. Click OK.
