  1. On the left bar, click Administrator Settings > Integrations.

  2. Expand the category of integration you want to add, and click Add.

  3. In the Integration system box, select the type of system you are integrating with Smart Build Insight.

  4. Give a name and description for the integration.

  5. Provide the details Smart Build Insight will use to authenticate with the system.

Service end point URL

The service end point URL. This is the site that Smart Build Insight connects to in order to authenticate with the system.

Authentication type

The way that Smart Build Insight will authenticate with the system.

Username and Password

(for Basic authentication)

The credentials for a user in the system. When Smart Build Insight connects to the system, it authenticates itself with the system by passing this user name and password.

SHARED Tip Be sure that the user has the necessary privileges for accessing and updating data in the system.

This is the site where Bricsys 24/7 validates your identity based on your username and password.

Authentication token URL

(for Bricsys 24/7)

This is the site that creates tokens after you've been given permission to use Bricsys 24/7. Token-based authentication further enhances security.

Client ID and Client secret

(for Truview, Bricsys 24/7, and Procore - Docs)

The Client ID and secret that the system assigned to Smart Build Insight when Smart Build Insight was registered as a client application in the system.

When Smart Build Insight connects to the system, it authenticates itself with the system by passing this user name and password.

Company ID

(for Procore - Docs)

Company ID is the unique identifier for the company registered in Procore.

Client ID, Client secret, and Hub ID

(for Autodesk Construction Cloud - Docs)

The Client ID and secret that the system assigned to the user when registered as a client application in the system.

Hub ID is the Autodesk account ID.

To set up custom integration, you must have a valid Autodesk Construction Cloud - Docs license. When you create an application for custom integration, Autodesk Construction Cloud - Docs generates a unique Client ID and secret.

Authentication information is specific to the system you are integrating with. If you do not know the details, ask an administrator of the integrated system for help.

A project administrator can now connect a project to the integrated system.
