Before you install Smart Interop Publisher, verify that your computer meets the required hardware and software requirements. For more information, see Smart Interop Publisher System Requirements.

If you have not installed and configured licensing on your workstation, we recommend doing so before installing Smart Interop Publisher.

Insert the Smart Interop Publisher product DVD. If the installation does not start automatically, double-click SIP_Setup.exe in the main folder.

On the Welcome screen, click Start Setup.

Type your name, company name, and the Smart Interop Publisher serial number you received with your purchase.

Specify the Install Path location, and then click Next.

Select the required Country or Region to review the License Agreement.

Select the check box to accept the agreement, and then click Install.

Cancel the installation process.

If you have Intergraph Batch Services version 6.1.0.9 or earlier installed, you must exit the installation and update batch services in a separate installation process. Download the latest Intergraph Batch Services from the PPM Smart Community.

You must have the Microsoft Visual C++2015-2019 (64-bit) Redistributable Package loaded before you install Smart Interop Publisher. Download and install the redistributable package from the Microsoft website, and then run the Smart Interop Publisher installation.

Upon completion, click Finish.
Smart Interop Publisher immediately opens the Readme file if you selected View Readme.vThe Readme contains information including version compatability, new feature lists, special instructions, and fixes.

Click Yes to restart your computer to complete the installation.
