Displays the results of the Synchronize Model with Catalog process for each step in the process (marking and updating) and for each type of data. The software displays this window automatically when processing completes. You use the Model and Catalog tabs to view the summary for the respective databases.
Synchronize statistics display in tabular format and correspond to your selections on the Synchronize Model with Catalog Dialog. For example, if you specified for the software to mark out-of-date occurrences, a summary of those statistics display in the Mark table. The statistical summary for updating out-of-date occurrences displays in the Update table.
Item types
Catalog Items
Represents parts in the catalog, such as piping valve parts and structural cross-section parts.
Model Occurrences
Indicates the occurrences in the model for parts that are out-of-date catalog items.
Symbol Definitions
Indicates the number of symbols that have been modified. Modifications can include changes in version numbers, inputs, outputs, and time stamps of the symbol definition files (for example, 2D symbols).
Symbol Occurrences
Indicates the occurrences of out-of-date symbol definitions.
External Data
Represents external data stores, such as a PDS file attachment.
Statistical data
When marking objects that are out-of-date with the catalog, the summary table displays Total, Succeeded, and Failed statistics for each item type.

Total displays the number of out-of-date occurrences for the item type.

Succeeded displays the number of out-of-date occurrences marked for the item type.

Failed displays the number of out-of-date occurrences for the item type that the software failed to mark.
Failures during the marking process are not expected. Should the process report any failures, contact customer support.
When updating objects that are out-of-date with the catalog, the summary table displays Total, Succeeded, Failed, Skipped, and Remaining statistics for each item type.

Total displays the number of out-of-date occurrences requiring an update for the item type.

Succeeded displays the number of out-of-date occurrences updated for the item type.

Failed displays the number of out-of-date occurrences for the item type that the software failed to update.

Skipped displays the number of out-of-date occurrences for the item type that the software did not attempt to update because the user does not have Write access to that object.

Remaining displays the number of out-of-date occurrences for the item type that remain to be updated.
