This release enhances the inspection template creation process in Jovix by allowing users to add Boolean answer types to their questions. Users can now select from "Pass/Fail," "True/False," and "Yes/No" options, enabling them to capture binary data effectively during inspections. The default settings will simplify this process, ensuring that "Pass" corresponds to "True" or "Yes" and "Fail" corresponds to "False" or "No." Users can easily customize these options as needed, making it more straightforward to gather essential data.
Additionally, system administrators now have improved control over inspection template permissions. They can assign roles to ensure that only authorized users can create inspection templates. The system automatically checks the "Read" option by default, preventing unauthorized changes. In environments other than Development or QA, users will not see the option to create or edit these permissions, enhancing security.
These updates significantly improve both the functionality and security of the inspection process in Jovix, allowing for better data collection and access control.
