We're happy to announce the latest update for Jovix users with appropriate permissions – the ability to create status rules with a range of values! With this enhancement, users can now create status rules to indicate when an entity's value has entered a specified range, providing valuable insights and notifications.
When initiating the creation of a new Status Rule, users can now set the entity type condition by selecting any entity type configured in the project. This flexibility ensures that users can tailor rules to their specific project requirements.
Once an entity type is selected, users can indicate their desire to create a rule of type "Enters numeric range", with options to select fields with data types of "number", "decimal", or "computed". Users can then specify the range by indicating values above, below, or between given numeric values, with clear understanding of inclusivity and exclusivity.
To ensure accuracy, users must fill out all fields on the form before creating the rule. Additionally, any text entered on the form is cleared when switching to another type selection, maintaining clarity and preventing errors.
With these enhancements, Jovix users can create status rules with ease, empowering them to effectively monitor entity values and take action when needed. We're excited to bring this functionality to our users and look forward to their continued feedback!
