The SDx Object Selector input type in an IndustraForm opens a full screen dialog. This dialog allows you to navigate through the SDx user interface and link any object (for example, a document or a tag) to the IndustraForm. The objects can be selected from the SDx results page, Info Map, interactive 3D models, and P&ID documents.
When a SDx document with associated files is linked, the files can be viewed on j5 Mobile (for example, .pdf or .docx files) and are stored in the j5 Attachments database.
These files are downloaded to j5 Mobile during j5 mobile file archive synchronization. This allows you to open the files on your device when it's offline.
The other linked objects can be viewed in the IndustraForm. These links navigate to the corresponding Info Map in SDx.
A sign-in screen is displayed in the SDx dialog when you are not signed in on the SDx server. This requires you to allow pop-ups for j5 in your browser.
