To open the j5 Shift Handover application, click Operations in the navigation bar and select Shift Handover in the list. The Shift Handover list view opens with a summary view of all the current shift handover entries available to you.
By default, only current shift handover entries appear in the list view. To display all of the shift handover entries, click Clear Filters in the filter menu bar. To display only the current shift handover entries again, click Current Handovers in the filter menu bar.
The Started at date and time is when the Start Handover button was clicked on the previous instance of the shift report. When the Start Handover button is clicked, the data in the current shift report is refreshed and no further data is imported into the current shift report after this point (unless Refresh Data is clicked or if Scheduled Refresh is on). Data created after the Start Handover button is clicked appears in next instance of the shift report.
If you click Refresh Data after the Start Handover button is clicked or if Scheduled Refresh is on, the data created in the time between the Start Handover button is clicked and when the data is refreshed is imported into the current shift
report. The Started at time for the next shift report instance doesn't change (the Started at time will still be the time the Start Handover button was clicked). This means that the data imported into the current shift report
when the data is refreshed (Refresh Data or Scheduled Refresh) is duplicated in the next shift report.
To open a shift handover entry, click on the shift handover entry you want to open. The shift report appears.
