The SDx Object Selector input type in an IndustraForm opens a full screen dialog box. This dialog box allows you to navigate through the SDx user interface and link any object (for example, a document or a tag) to the IndustraForm. The objects can be selected from the SDx list page, Info Map pages, interactive 3D models, and P&ID diagrams.
When an SDx document with associated files is linked, the files can be viewed on j5 Mobile (for example, PDF or docx files) and are stored in the j5 Attachments database.
These files are downloaded to j5 Mobile during synchronization. This allows you to open the files on your device when it's offline.
The other linked objects can be viewed in the IndustraForm. These links navigate to the corresponding Info Map on the SDx web client.

A sign in screen appears in the SDx dialog when you are not signed in on the SDx server. This requires you to allow pop-ups for j5 in your browser.
