Bluetooth sensor tasks are automatically completed when you connect your mobile device with their relevant bluetooth sensor. There are two types of sensors: Fixed and Reusable.

Bluetooth needs to be enabled to request sensor data. j5 Mobile will request that you enable bluetooth if it is disabled when you request sensor data. You can't scan or read data from sensors when bluetooth is disabled.

The GPS needs to be enabled on your device when requesting sensor data.

Your device must be equipped with Bluetooth LE hardware.

There are known issues with device discovery when using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A (SM-T515) tablet and i-Alert3 sensors.

i-Alert device firmware updates are not done by the j5 application. You should use the ITT app to perform these updates.

You must request an i-Alert license from ITT to use the sensors with Operator Rounds.
