This section contains:

  • Operator Round Name - Determines the name of the round's overview section and is used to identify the tasks spreadsheet.

  • Datasource - Displays the identifier of the data source that tag data is retrieved from and sent to for this operator round. All of the tags referenced in the Read from Tag Name and Write to Tag Name columns should be connected to this data source.

  • Write to Tag Trigger - Determines when the entered values are sent to the data source. The Write to Tag Trigger can be:

    • On Round Completion - When the operator round has been submitted and approved.

    • On Round Submission - When the operator round has been submitted.

  • Write to Tag Timestamp - Determines what date and time is associated with the individual values sent to the data source. The Write to Tag Timestamp can be:

    • Modification Time - The time the value was last edited.

    • Write-trigger Time - The time the value was sent to the data source (determined by the Write to Tag Trigger setting).

    • Scheduled Start Time - The time the operator round was scheduled to start.

    • Actual Start Time - The time the operator round actually started.

  • Write Data Point History Trigger - Determines when the data point history is updated. The Write Data Point History Trigger can be:

    • On Round Completion - When the operator round has been submitted and approved.

    • On Round Submission - When the operator round has been submitted.

  • Write Data Point History Timestamp - Determines what date and time is associated with the individual values in the data point history. The write Data Point History Timestamp can be:

    • Modification Time - The time the value was last edited.

    • Write-trigger Time - The time the value was sent to the data source (determined by the Write to Tag Trigger setting).

    • Scheduled Start Time - The time the operator round was scheduled to start.

    • Actual Start Time - The time the operator round actually started.

  • Supervisor approval section - Determines whether the approver/s can revise an operator round after it has been approved.

    • When enabled (Y is entered): The top-level Round Approvals section appears. The round can be revised after it is approved.

    • When not enabled: The approvals are handled in the top-level Round Completion section. The round can be revised after it is rejected, but it can't be revised after it is approved.

  • Rejection Gate - Enables the Rejected operator round state.

    • When enabled (Y is entered): The round goes into the Rejected state when an approver rejects the round.

    • When not enabled: The round goes into the Completed state when an approver rejects the round.

  • Barcode Scan for Section Unlock - Used to lock sections with barcodes until their associated barcode is scanned. This ensures that operators take the task data from the equipment when the barcode is attached to the equipment item or in its general vicinity.

  • Barcode Scan Unlock Time - The length of time, in seconds, until an unlocked section becomes locked again.

  • Require comments for all flagged inputs - When enabled (Y is entered), a required comment box appears below every flagged input or selection.

  • Approved entries do not appear in the Operator Rounds list view on j5 Mobility. Therefore, when the Supervisor approval section is activated, supervisors can only revise the entry on the j5 Web Client.

  • If a supervisor revises an operator round after it has been approved, the approvals are wiped from the operator round and need to be completed again after the revision.

The #j5.Round: heading and the operator round name are essential in a tasks spreadsheet. An operator round template cannot be created from a tasks spreadsheet without this information. The other cells in the #j5.Round: section can be removed.
