Hardware requirements
-
Devices should have a screen size of at least 5 inches. Slightly smaller devices can
be used but might have small visual artifacts.
-
A camera on the device is highly recommended for the benefit of photo and video attachments,
and camera-based barcode scanning, but it is not necessary to use j5 Mobile.
-
Devices must be GPS enabled.
j5 Mobile aims to support as broad a range of mobile devices as reasonably possible.
However, if there are device or manufacturer specific problems that can't be reasonably
resolved by software, we reserve the right not to support that device.

-
Please contact your nearest j5 regional office if you are unsure if the j5 system
requirements will be met by a particular device.

The exact performance and features of mobile devices vary widely between platform
versions and manufacturers. Acceptable results can't be guaranteed on every model,
and so testing functionality is recommended before bulk purchases.
