When an input is required, the input's section can’t be submitted before it has been completed.
To make an input required:

Select the input cell.

Select the Required checkbox under the heading on the Properties tab.
Some IndustraForms are saved before the first section of the form is submitted (for example, Control of Work permits). To make a cell required before the IndustraForm can be saved, select the Never Blank checkbox.
