If you have been unable to connect the j5 IndustraForm Designer to your j5 Server, do the following:

  1. Delete the connection node in the navigation pane. Right-click the connection and select Delete Connection.

  2. Recreate the connection. Take care to enter your connection name and URL carefully (include the necessary spaces, capitalization, and punctuation).

If you are still unable to connect:

  1. Check that your j5 Server is online and accessible from your location.

  2. Make sure that your version of the j5 Operations Management System running on your server supports the j5 IndustraForm Designer, and that the version of your j5 Server matches the version of your j5 IndustraForm Designer.

SSL error

If you get an SSL error while trying to connect to j5:

  1. Add the j5 Server certificate to the Certificate Store.

  2. On the j5 Connection Details window, select the imported certificate in the Certificate Store field.

  3. Click OK.
