A chart display can be limited to a certain number of sample points. j5 will reduce the resolution over the whole time range to achieve the configured number of sample points. j5 will calculate evenly spaced points in time to query the data source, and display the tag values returned for those times. (The data sources will generally interpolate values as necessary.) Setting very high values here may result in slower performance.
