j5 version 26 (2018) requires MS ODBC Driver version 17.3.1.1 and doesn't support future versions.

j5 version 28 (2019) requires MS ODBC Driver version 17 (minimum patch version is 17.3.1.1).

j5 version 30 requires MS ODBC Driver version 18 (minimum patch version is 18.1.2.1).

You are prompted to install the required MS ODBC Driver during j5 Setup. It's installed automatically when you give j5 Setup permission to proceed with the installation.

Future patch versions of each applicable version can be installed, but they might not be fully tested by the j5 Product Team.
