Operator round sections can be marked as active or inactive depending on their associated asset's status. Alternatively, each asset can be given custom states. This allows for more information to be gathered about each asset other than it just being active or inactive, when required.

Asset states are grouped into sets. Each state set can be used across multiple assets.

For example, you can create a Generator set with the statuses Running, Standby, Off, and Out-of-Service. Any asset linked to this Generator set can be in one of its four states.

Asset sets and assets are configured on the Asset State Sets configuration page. To create an asset set:

  1. Select Add ADDicon

  2. Enter a name for the new set in the Name box.

  3. Select Save SAVEicon

To add a status to a set:

  1. Select on the set.

  2. Select Add ADDicon

  3. Enter a name for the state.

  4. Set the order of the state by entering an integer in the Order text box. The states are sorted according to this value when they are displayed in a list.

  5. Select Save SAVEicon

Repeat this process until you’ve added all of the statuses to this set.
