You only need to create a new HTTPS connection configuration node when another HTTPS connection is configured. If no other HTTPS connection is needed, don't create a new HTTPS connection node, just enter the connection details on the standard HTTPS Connection Configuration node.

  1. Right-click the HTTPS Connection Configuration node in the j5 System Management Console, and select New HTTPS Connection Configuration. A dialog box appears.

  2. Enter a name for the connection (for example, EAM) and select OK. A new connection node appears.

  3. Enter the connection details: Basic connection or API Key connection

The locale of the EAM user that j5 uses to connect to EAM must use the MM/DD/RRRR date format. The details for this user are represented by the username and password when using a Basic connection. When using the API Key connection option, the API key is linked to the EAM user.
