By default, Tomcat services will be configured to start Manually. We recommend that Tomcat Services are configured to startup automatically.

To change this configuration:

  1. Search for "View Local Services" to open Windows Services panel. You should see that the "Startup Type" will be set to "Manual".

  2. Right­click "Apache Tomcat 8.0" and select Properties.

  3. Change the Startup type to Automatic and Apply changes. You should see that the Startup Type should now be set to Automatic.
