Export - iConstruct - Help - Hexagon

Export project information back to a file, or ODBC to allow for a push or pull of updated project data and created Workpacks.

1. Go to Datasources by clicking on the project name above Control Panel ribbon and then Datasources button.

   

2. Pick the Data Table and click on the Export Data tool.

   

3. To export to file, select File from the Export To drop-down.
   
   
   

   You can choose to export the columns by Display name or Internal name.
   
   
   To export to ODBC, select Reload Tables and then select a Target table for export.

   
   
   
   
   

   • To export to ODBC select the locally configured ODBC DNS.

   • Schema of the target table should match with the internal column names when exporting to ODBC.

4. Select OK.
   

Add password to the file to be exported:

You can protect the file to be exported by encrypting a password to it. After saving the file, follow the steps below:

1. Hold Ctrl key and select Export Current Table View to File.

2. On the Encryption Options tab, enter the password.

3. Select OK.

Selecting Export Current Table View to File without holding the Ctrl key exports the file without a password.
