The SDB 2020 OOTB Instance must be created using SDB Setup wizard.exe. This will act as the source database for the merge process. For instructions on creating an OOTB instance of the SDB, see Create SDB Database using SDB Setup Wizard.

If multiple Oracle homes exists on the DB server, Oracle 18c home must be present before other Oracle homes in the "path" environmental variable.
Migration to SDB 2020 is irreversible, so a full database backup is strongly recommended
before starting the migration process.
